Gallery 836 (Jun 9, 2021). This time we were badly mistaken. The shore area of this partially drained pond looked like a beautiful sandy beach. But under the beach was the mud... thick, black mud. Just a few steps were enough to sink in up to my ankles. I was quite surprised. Then a few steps further my bright red Lakeland Wellies were already stuck up to the upper edge in the tough mud. Finally, I even had to "dig them out" with my hands. Good that I wore my long latex gloves. (36 pictures and 6:15 min video in the members area).
