Gallery 902 (Sep 14, 2022). As promised... here's another part of this extraordinary adventure, where I first wore white heel boots and then (on a small island in the middle of the drained pond) exchanged them for Streamfisher waders. This is about the way back and I can tell you, it was a tough one. I sank into soft mud up to my boot tops and struggled through deep bottoms that sucked my waders in. Exhausting, but wonderful.
